When I started pursuing photography again as a hobby in 2000, I never set out to be a street photographer, but my career in the City kept me bound to the bustling, urban metropolis while I really longed to be somewhere else.

Thus I started taking photographs of my everyday environment, of the quotidian and ordinary, mostly as a pictorial record of my personal journey through the first years of this new century."
