ChartresAug 2007 |
Chartres is a medieval market town just 80km southwest of Paris. It is most famous for its 12th century Gothic cathedral which looms over everything else in this charming and picturesque village, through which the River Eure flows. In the summertime, it sees a steady stream of daytrippers from Paris. Click on a thumbnail to view image. |
