Kuala Lumpur

The capital of Malaysia changed dramatically during the 90s in a spate of rapid development and it is now largely a city of overcrowded streets, mega-shopping malls and most famously, the oft-trumpeted Twin Towers. However, I was more interested in capturing the quirkier side of the city and some of the enduring aspects of its culture; its popular coffee shops ("kopitiam") and the denizens who frequent them.
