Norway's second most populous city, Bergen is nestled on the western coast, a popular tourist haven in the summer. We arrived in the middle of a heatwave! Little is left of medieval Bergen after a long history of devastating fires. Much of the action centres around the Torgate, by the harbour, where there is a thriving fish market every morning.
